OVERVIEW
We believe that our church should be salt and light in our very own community. Therefore, we are in the process of identifying ministries that seek to effectively meet the needs of people in the Tennessee Valley and we plan to come alongside these ministries to take the gospel to our neighbors. For more information on any of these opportunities or to volunteer, please contact the church office.
ORGANIZATIONS
Choose Life of Huntsville
This ministry provides services and counseling to women who are pregnant, considering abortions, have already had an abortion, or are trying to take responsibility for their lives. Choose Life has a need for men and women to serve as counselors and mentors for the women and their partners who come to the clinic.
Habitat for Humanity
This ministry promotes financial stewardship and provides economical housing to low income families. Habitat for Humanity has a need for construction workers and counselors for potential home owners.
Johnson Towers Outreach
This ministry seeks to provide meaningful fellowship to elderly and lower-income individuals living in the Johnson Towers facility. This ministry needs volunteers willing to visit one-on-one with Johnson Towers residents, as well as prayer for those involved in the ministry.
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Ongoing Opportunities: Prayer, teaching, financial support for missions, manual labor for a Habitat work crew, Choose Life counselors for both men and women
